WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:
Identify and train early stage career scientists of diverse backgrounds who are committed to conducting African American aging research
Improve the quality and quantity of research conducted with older African Americans
ELIGIBILITY:
PhD, MD or equivalent degree, PhD candidates and advanced doctoral program graduate students
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
STIPENDS:
Up to 15 stipends will be awarded to those chosen to attend the 2013 Summer Training Workshop to help defray travel and hotel expenses. Awardees will be notified two weeks after the application deadline.
